Bawdsey Manor Tuesday

4th June 2019
After a sunny start, we did have rather a wet day yesterday!  The children powered on through the rain and didn't let it dampen their spirits.

We started with a sunny coastal walk, with beautiful views from the cliffs.  Some groups enjoyed archery whilst others went on the giant swing.  The rain set in at lunchtime which meant climbing various different obstacles in torrential rain!  You wouldn't have known it was raining though - the children were amazing and took on all the challenges with much courage and perseverance!

The evening was spent in a nice dry classroom, taking part in a quiz.  We had another good night's sleep - the children were really great at settling to sleep again.

This morning another teacher stopped me to say how incredibly well behaved our pupils are.  Logan stopped to hold the door open for a large group of children and the Furneux Pelham children all stood aside, totally unprompted, to let them through.  I wasn't at all surprised, but I was very proud.
