York - Latest news

23rd May 2018
Another busy day yesterday.  We spent hours exploring the York Castle Museum.  The children loved the Victorian Street and the prison cells.  In the afternoon we made the long-awaited climb up to the top of Clifford's Tower - the views did not disappoint!

We returned to the youth hostel where we made Viking shields after dinner.  This was followed by an evening of playing Yahtzee and Pictionary.

After a very good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast, we are heading into the city centre in the sunshine.
