Kingfisher Class

In the first half of the summer term, we were learning about coasts and focused on the seaside.  We visited Walton-on-the-Naze for a fantastic trip to the seaside!  We played in the sand, paddled in the water and enjoyed an icecream on the shore.  It wasn’t very sunny, but at least it didn’t rain!

This half term, our topic is What’s in the Toy Box?  We are learning about the 1960’s decade and the toys that children enjoyed then.  There is a strong focus upon chronology so that the children understand the order of key events in the 1960’s.  We will move onto making comparisons between toys and games of today with those from the 1960’s.
