Five Ways to Wellbeing
Year 6 have been learning about the Five Ways to Wellbeing – Connect, Take Notice, Learn, Be Active and Give. The children worked together to make a film to encourage others to use the five ways to wellbeing to maintain good mental health.
Hello Yellow Day – October 6th 2023
We will be marking Hello Yellow Day with various activities which highlight the importance of looking after our Mental Health. The day will give the children strategies that they can use to keep their minds healthy.
Activities will include yellow selfies – the children will pose with a variety of yellow items. The photo which makes their class teacher smile the most will be declared the winner!
Mindful Music
Children in Years 4, 5 and 6 were asked to listen to some of their teacher’s favourite calming and relaxing pieces of music and choose their favourite.
It was very close but Nuvole Bianche by Ludovico Einaudi just beat the others. Several of the children felt so chilled and relaxed they almost fell asleep!
